Sewing Retreat Feb 26-March 1st

I traveled from Sacramento, California and was not disappointed. Meg is warm and accommodating. Everyone who attended was friendly. The group was totally into sewing. I was the beginner, okay with this, and came with the mindset to absorb, be inspired, and hopeful jump start my journey into sewing. I did absorb, I was inspired (some skilled gals with terrific energy), and can’t wait to get home and start growing my craft. Thanks to everyone for a terrific weekend in a beautiful space.

This retreat was amazing for so many reasons! Meg is kind and nurturing with great advice about sewing as well as keeping everyone fed and energized with tasty nutritious meals. The location choice was phenomenal, as were the other sewists. The environmental was fun and friendly. I can't wait to do it again!

As a beginner sewer, I was a bit nervous heading into this retreat. Meg did an amazing job catering to everyones sewing ability. It was a safe space for any and all questions. We watched tv, went on walks, ate delicious food, and of course, sewed for hours on end. I cant wait to do it again!!

This retreat was AMAZING! Meg did such a great job cultivating a relaxing, educational, collaborative, and supportive environment. Not only is she a talented pattern-maker and community-builder, but she's an amazing cook and a good hang. I'm a relativelt amateur sewist and I flew from out of state and I'm so glad I did. I really improved my skills and left with an awesome vest and new friends. So excited for the next one!
